Happy new year everyone. I liked this blessing from Mass this morning and I offer it here for all of my readers (and non readers too):
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."I don't usually make a habit of doing New Year's resolutions but I do want to make an effort to be more regular in my postings here. I want to make an effort to do one post a day unless I'm otherwise committed to something for the time in question, or have advised readers that I'm taking a week off to recharge my batteries. Twice in the past month I've let this place go for four or five days with no explanation, and I don't want to get into the habit of doing that. That said, I am helping out at our parish's RCIA (Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults) classes this spring and that means I will be occupied on Thursday nights. It's likely there will be a lot of skipped Thursdays until a few weeks after Easter.
