The Banty Rooster shares a story out of Iraq that is inspiring:
it was a long, long case, and very labor intensive. There were 3 of us working on the resuscitation most of the time. This guy got 30 units of red cells, 5 units of whole blood, 16 units of plasma, and as many platelets as we could get our hands on. It is amazing the resources we spend on saving the "enemy" soldier. It is incredibly damning that you never read such things in the MSM. Tip: Stuart Buck.
