The Red Ensign group are conservative and libertarian Canadian bloggers who are united in their desire to see Canada return to the larger and more muscular stance it had on the world stage until about the mid 20th Century. It was about then that mostly Liberal governments introduced 'peacekeeping' and 'multilateralism', and began the gutting of our military, to the point that our disaster relief team has no independent air lift capability and were sloooow off the ground in getting to Asia for Tsunami relief. Kudos to CanWest for calling a terrorist a terrorist . Many, including The Last Amazon , will be happy to hear it. Reuters is among the worst of the major western news services, where I would also place the BBC and the CBC.
Unsurprisingly, Reuters is not happy about the changes CanWest made to Reuters wire stories:
