I need to resolve not to compose posts of any length in blogger while using Firefox. As much as I like this browser, when it crashes it does so very suddenly and without giving you any chance to save your work. I just spent over an hour responding to Francis Poretto's great post, The Calculus of Freedom. I'm too annoyed and tired to try again so this is all you get. The good news is that nothing I had to say was any better than his post. In fact, this annoyance has probably saved you a few minutes.

Makes room for CanWest to join the majors
Kudos to CanWest for calling a terrorist a terrorist . Many, including The Last Amazon , will be happy to hear it. Reuters is among the worst of the major western news services, where I would also place the BBC and the CBC.
Unsurprisingly, Reuters is not happy about the changes CanWest made to Reuters wire stories:
